Thanks for revealing the bias mortgage brokers and real estate agents fail to disclose; unless the appraisal satisfies their needs, there is no loan transaction no sale transaction, no compensation for those who work for “contingent fees”. As a commercial real estate counselor, I often commissioned appraisals by competent, unbiased appraisers. If only a few million homebuyers had done so in recent years… Obama’s life would be MUCH easier.
